Update from Thai Embassy in HCMC. No queues, no waiting. I was the only one there when applying and also receiving my visa the next day. I did ME Non O based on marriage.
Documents needed:
- Copy Wife ID both sides with her signature
- Copy Marriage Certificate both sides with her signature
- Original Marriage Certificate
- A letter from the wife addressed to the Consulate.
- Copy of Wife Tabien Baan with her signature.
- 1 Picture (didn't need to be passport picture, I used normal ones with glasses on).
I did not have to sign any of the documents and no copies of my passport needed. Fee 200 USD. No questions asked. Friendly staff. Got the visa next day.
