Anyone in laos doing their dtv? What’s the process there? I’m hearing online only but then people going in for meetings also.

you apply online AFTER you're in Lao,

you upload proof you're there (visa/entry stamp)

you upload the support documentation,

you submit the visa application,

get a confirmation that you PRINT out and take to the consulate to pay the 10K baht for the visa,

THEN

you wait until you get emailed for the interview.

so if I go to the interview it’s much better as if I mess up, they can tell me what I need to fix up so I don’t waste money applying online and providing something wrong?

interview is the very last step of the process typically they ask you a few questions confirm your application criteria and definitely check your bank account by your phone to make sure the funds are still there

nope, IF you messed up the DATA entry you still pay and get the application rejected. You can always get a request for additional documents applying online

What you can't do is edit a data field once it's entered, SO check your data entry carefully, then check it again

remember the two consulates in Lao are the ones that usually have you open your website/mobile banking app and show them the balance while you're at the interview

3 months worth or just on the spot that month? Ive got the amount no problem for 2 months but dec - Jan I had all my money in crypto so it might look like more poor for Dec/Jan. 🤔

They really want to see that you have the money in the account on the date you apply when they have you log in., you already upload your banking history to them when you apply

U have to submit visa from

and go to embassy to pay the visa fees. And only u have to do is to wait email .while u waiting u can go to another city like van vian and lam prabung with bullet train. When u get interview email u have to go back to embassy and after interview u may have ur visa from email
