Hey all, made someone a Non O Retirement Visa in Kuala Lumper?

What do I need for to get the 180 day Visa?

Or made someone already the one year Retirement in KL?

Where do I have to make the medical documents and the police documents?

Thank you for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a Non-O Retirement Visa in Kuala Lumpur, you need to apply for a 90-day single-entry visa initially, with potential to extend to a one-year stay later. Requirements include a medical certificate issued within the last three months and a police clearance or equivalent document from your home country or current country of residence. The income requirement must be proven via an Embassy Letter. The Thai Embassy provides a checklist on their website for application details.

Josef... To get a letter of certification of your monthly income outside of Thailand - go to the Embassy of your Home Country in Bangkok and apply for what is often called an Embassy Letter, Affidavit of Income, Income Certification Letter, etc. Check their requirements for proof of Income for use in obtaining a Thailand Visa.

The Visa Application Forms are on line and I think they may be in the Files section of this Group - top of this page FILES

@Jo***
, go to one of the consulates that
@J*
, mentioned. You'll have far less problem getting a 90 day single entry Non-O visa

Josef, I have had two friends get the Non Immigrant O 90 day visa with intention of later converting it to a one year Extension of Stay - over age 50 / Retirement. These friends met the financial requirements of having at least 65,000 Baht Equivalent in monthly income by evidence of an Embassy Letter/Affidavit as proof of income. One was obtained in Vientiane and one in Penang - Neither one was asked to provide medical or police certification.

3. Recent Police clearance or equivalent reference of no criminal conviction

4. Medical certificate

This two points make me headache.

Where I can make them for Vientine?

From Germany I can get them in some weeks. But do they accept it?

Can I make them here in Thailand because I'm already here.

Do I need them for the 90 days Non O Retirement Visa?

Josef... There are several to get to get an over age 50 'retirement' visa. One is to go to a Thai Embassy/Consulate in your Home Country. There apply for an O-A Long Stay Visa. The requirements are found on the website of the Thai Embassy in your home country.

Another way is to come to Thailand on a tourist visa. Go to a neighboring country such as Vientiane, Laos and get a Non Immigrant O Visa. Financial requirements are published on the Thai Embassy Website in Vientiane or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You can also get the O Visa at the main website Bangkok Immigration Office.

Then after getting the Non Immigrant O 90 day Visa you can have it Extended for One Year at a Thai Immigration office by Application and meeting the financial requirements.

There is more to all this but this is a start.

It will be a Single Entry Visa for one time 90 days, they do not give out 1 year retirement visa, medical document must be issued in Malaysia within the last 3 months prior to application and Police documents must be from country of origin or country of residence also issued in the last 3 months prior to application.

The Thai Embassy is so nice to put a checklist on their website which you can print out and have to use for application. Here is the link:
