Please be aware....in recent days we have reported granting of the METV multiple entry tourist visa instead of the DTV visa applied for..

As the Thai Embassy or Consulate are deeming the small number of cooking school classes not sufficient for the DTV visa. With planning, the DTV visa can get you up to 8 months stay in Thailand with 2 simple border bounces

Update: Day 2 was very good and a lot of fun…market visit, pad kra pao chicken, som tam, red chicken curry and of course mango sticky rice 😁

I have 6 months to complete 8 classes, so it’s flexible with my schedule when I’m in Bangkok

I’m not an immigration officer, so I can’t comment.

When I did my online search I looked for a company that was DTV compliant and the paperwork (pdf) they prepared for me was extensive, so I’m guessing that helped with the application process
