I am planning to go back soon. Do they ask something when you go back in with dtv Visa and also with the new
digital arrival card?
Answer summary
When re-entering Thailand with a DTV visa, it's generally uncommon for immigration officers to ask questions. However, they may inquire about the purpose of your visit and how you are financially supporting yourself. It's advisable to carry the supporting documents related to your DTV visa application and to be prepared to answer questions relevant to your visa type, such as whether you're on a workation or under the Thai Soft Power category. Additionally, completing the Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within three days of arrival and presenting all necessary documents at passport control is recommended.

It is not common that the immigration stops to ask questions when entering. However, if you see from other posts, there are occasions when the officer asks questions regarding your visit. Several questions mentioned are what you are doing in Thailand and how you are supporting yourself.. etc.
You should be prepared with all the supporting documents used when you applied for the DTV visa, along with the answers to those questions that make the most sense to which DTV visa option you applied under. I.e. Workation or Thai Soft Power.
Overall what the officers are concerned about is how you can financially support yourself living in Thailand, and whether you could be in Thailand looking for work. Which you are not supposed to under DTV visa.
