Hi, all

I am using ED visa now. it will expire next month.

I hope to apply DTV by medical treatment.

I have had high blood pressue for long time.

I haven`t had any treatment from thailand. but I am having medicine from my country.

I read many posting but most of people apply by digital nomad and muay thai class.

Does anyone have a DTV by medical treatment?

what should I prepare for applying DTV with medical treatment?

please advise for my case.

Thanks and sorry for my bad english^^

Yes.

Booked an appointment with BIH and asked for their visa confirmation - which they are very proficient at. I had spinal surgery. They even addressed it to Thai Embassy, London for me.

Just be wary of any extra requirements from whichever embassy you’re apply from.

Have to say BIH were brilliant. 72 hours after arrival - I had my op.

It would be best if you have treatment history in Thailand. It’s some sort of medical tourism. I got mine with medical and I have history, and one prior appointment letter from the hospital.

did you bring additional documents other than your appointment? Some day bring a letter from hospital or doctor. I also wrote a cover letter. I will have to go to embassy next week.

yes. I asked my doctor to write me a recommendation letter for visa purpose. And got some papers on my medical history too.

I have read instances of people getting the medical DTV with just a single hospital or dental appointment. It really all depends on which embassy you are applying to.

Oh~~Rory^^

Did you get it already? Did hospital know about the DTV visa? or You just prepare yourself?

What medical treatment do u expect to get for high blood pressure? U just control it with medication like millions of others do. Or do u think u will get DTV by saying u need to go to pharmacy in Thailand?

I am having all my teeth removed and implants but not all at once so that takes two years

can not? If I misunderstand about medical treatment, You can advise me, not talk a dig.

In your country, don't you regularly see a doctor for high blood pressure, get advice and get a prescription?

or should I get a cancer?haha

I think

has a point there. To have good chances to get approved, you might need a realistic treatment plan, and that is more than just some medication and a regularly check of your blood pressure. The fact that you were not treated before in Thailand does not help your case either.
