What are the recent experiences regarding DTV approvals or rejections in Colombo?
Any Updates (reasons for rejections) or recently approved DTV experienced from Colombo? I’m going there in a few days (for different reasons) and just have to make the decision IF I try to apply (because I need the DTV soon) or save my money in case they’re just rejecting anyone atm. I‘ve spent 2 months in Thailand this year and 6 months at the beginning of last year. I have all the necessary documents for a workation DDTV. Thank you

Embassy dont need to tell reason for visa rejection. They reserve the right to reject application at their discretion

Be prepared for questions if you try to return to Thailand without a Thai Visa... with your Thai immigration history of the recent 12 months, you will be on the Thai Immigration radar and likely DENIED ENTRY if you try to enter Thailand with a Visa Exempt Entry.
IF YOU MUST return to Thailand without a Thai Visa, be sure to use the services of SAFE ENTRY on arrival.
IF they accept you for their SAFE ENTRY service, They meet you on arrival at the airport and guide you thru Thai Immigration to get a NEW 60 day STAMP as Visa Exempt Entry.
BUT if you have any 30 day extension of stay during the prior 12 months, THIS entry will ONLY be allowed a 7 day extension of stay.
IF YOU MUST return to Thailand without a Thai Visa, be sure to use the services of SAFE ENTRY on arrival.
