What are the requirements and options for applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand?

Is there an agent that would help me get DTV. I understand I can do that myself. But I would rather pay for convenience and assurance.

Here are some of the questions

1. The visa process takes about 22 days to a month. Since you need to apply from outside Thailand, does that mean I have to remain outside Thailand for the entire duration of the processing time?

2. Regarding the financial requirement of 500,000 THB, does the money need to be in a Thai bank account, or can it be in an account like Wise? I’m a sole trader and CEO of a US-based company, and my funds are in my Wise account.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking assistance from an agent to obtain a DTV visa rather than applying independently. Key questions include whether one must remain outside Thailand during the application processing period and if funds for the financial requirement can be held in a non-Thai bank account. Responses indicate that the DTV application must be made from outside Thailand, and while some agents charge high fees, users have successfully used foreign accounts like Wise to meet financial requirements.

In Vietnam Embassy it takes around 5 working days. You can look up for my post in this group to research more. Otherwise, I can help with the visa processing.

I agree. Time is money. Post a massive agent visa service list with location, price, visa types provided and what their extra offerings are.

Aggregate it with a script from all the comments or previous single agent sales post. Pin the post it to this page.

My application is prepared done and fully meeting all Thai consulate or evisa requirements for DTV. Yes I will pay double to not waste time from work when I can be earning more money at my office in Thailand. Not in a surrounding country in a hotel.

Keen for the fast lane pass for an extra 15k baht on top of the fee! Cheers. Rant vent over.

Not responding to you bored Reddit type trolls who want to guess my origin of country or where I’ve lived for the past decade (properly some slight spite innit jk m8s).

@Brian *****
- you state “I can be earning more money at my office in Thailand”, but this is a digital nomad visa. You have an office? Where did you get your DTV?

As I asked few agent to do DTV visa price is 85,000 - 120,000 even that still not included your travel ( flight )

So we decided to do it ourselves.

but look at their website for their requirements for the DTV visa

It depends on what country (embassy) you are applying in. USA and Europe may take 20+ days, but most southeast Asian countries take 5-10 days. However, it also depends on your nationality

Baan Thai is good for assisting. Lawyers in bkk.

You can't apply for a DTV inside Thailand, go to the country whose consulate you want to apply to and then apply, some countries have separate consulates for different areas so research and make sure you're in the correct area.

The finances need to be in a personal account, not a business account

Never heard of it taking a month usually no more than 10 days and that’s a lot, people do come back to Thailand to wait but if your asked for more documentation and proof of your location you’ll be denied there are agents who will help at crazy prices 100,000+ up to you

1. yes outside

2. Can be in foreign account. You probably can’t open a Thai bank account anyways
