What can I do if my DTV application was rejected in Vietnam?

For those who may have seen my previous post regarding my recent DTV rejection ⬇️

Last week I went too Vietnam, Hanoi to apply for my DTV which unfortunately was rejected almost instantly. I let my emotions get the better of me and made a post talking down on the agency which I chose to work with.

Despite that, they stayed professional and worked with me without it turning into something bigger. I understand that the embassy makes the final decision on these things, and it was not a flaw on the agencies behalf.

If anyone needs help with visas, do hit them up as they are a respectable company to deal with.

DTV doesn't require an agent. If you think you have a "special" case that calls for one odds are it's not the right visa for you

Your wasting your money because your lazy.do your research first look in this site at previous posts the successful application give you step by step process. So why do you need an agent to do it yourself. Sometimes the embassy knows its an agent and rejects immediately. Dont be lazy many have been successful on their own

Likely it was a problem with entering the initial characters and not EXACTLY matching the passport data page.

Name, birthdate, passport number and expiration date MUST be identical. Do NOT allow your device to automatically type them for you. Type the characters yourself and triple check your accuracy.

Otherwise the "computer " will reject your application immediately.

It seems like the most trivial part of the application and all of your attention is focused on your supporting documents.

It’s possible the agent encountered the same issue.

That's a nice PR post. I mean, you were gonna get sued. It's a crime in Thailand to talk like this about an agency, hotel, etc, even went right btw because it can bring you a lot of trouble. If it was rejected immediately, you cannot say categorically that no mistake was made. Less so mistake, but more so telling you straight away that this type of application get rejected often in Vietnam. Something was missing for sure. Nobody get rejected "immediately" by accident.

I want to give it a go in minimum of 6 weeks but still as of this week I have literally no idea what basis it was rejected on. I might use agent like you - as I'm almost illiterate with applications. I've seen many farang freaking out at thai airports lol and I do see why so don't let the stress get to you. I think the odds are good on reapplying if the issue on the prior is resolved and keep on good terms with people while you wait, its lost money and a delay after all nothing worse.
