What experiences have others had with immigration interviews for marriage visa renewals in Thailand?

I think recently immigration has started taking random interviews at the time of visa renewal. This is first time I have been called for the interview for marriage visa renewal in last 8 years. There were questions like how many days you stayed in Thailand and what is your income source etc. Did anyone had similar experience recently? (may be because immigration is strict now)

Its a good thing, far too many sham marriages, if you are like the majority  law abiding foreigner, then there is nothing to be fearful over🤔

They have been doing this for years not out of the ordinary and yes a lot of fake marriages in Thailand now

Its their new "crack down" they are scrutinizing marriage visas now. As if they dont make them stressful and time consuming enough. There were a few articles on it last week about "Sham marriage crackdowns" and how "foreigners are benefiting from the marriage visas" which was absolutely clowned on by everyone in the comments. I swear they are trying to kick out all of the foreigners now.

I've seen a youtuber in the same case as you. A clean guy with 6 years of marriage. The immigration officers simply visited the house he was living with his wife, took pictures and talked with the neighbors. Nothing bad happened but even the most integrated and peaceful farangs can be grilled.
