Hi everyone, has anyone applied for a DTV from California with a spouse and 2 children? I cannot find solid information regarding how much we need to have in our bank account for the 4 of us. My 2 kids are under 10 years old.

I see a few articles and blogs saying we need to show proof we have 500,000 THB for the primary applicant - but I also see some articles stating we will need to show proof that we have 2,000,000 THB for the 4 of us. Eek.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry revolves around the financial requirements for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) application intended for a family of four, including two children under ten. There is conflicting information regarding whether the primary applicant needs to show 500,000 THB or a total of 2,000,000 THB for the family. Comments suggest that one might need to show at least 1,000,000 THB, and in certain cases, both parents may need to demonstrate 800,000 THB each, particularly if both are non-Thai.

If you are both Non Thai's then you will need to show 800,000 each and possibly some to cover the Children too, if one of you is retirement age then it's possible to get a retirement visa showing just 800k the other partner could get a student visa to learn Thai and when that finishes ( usually 6 months) then 'follow' the retirement visa holder with a dependant visa.

I'd expect you should show the equivalent of a million at least.
