Where do people on a TR 60 visa go for extensions in Bangkok?

I'm in Bangkok on a 60 TR visa. I plan to extend this week. Will ask for covid 60 day extension, but will take the standard 30 days if that is all they grant me.

I've seen mixed comments with some people saying go to MTT immigration location, while others say Chaengwattana. Where do people on a TR 60 visa go for extensions in Bangkok?

TLDR : Answer Summary
For those on a TR 60 visa in Bangkok, the recommended location for extensions is the Chaengwattana Immigration Office, specifically Division 1, Building B, 2nd floor, counter J. Some people mentioned the MTT immigration location, but it appears to be for exemptions. When going for the extension, remember to bring all required documents, including copies of your passport and COVID vaccination certificate, and prepare to pay a fee in cash.

I extended mine 2 weeks ago at the location below. You will be greeted at the front entrance and asked to fill out a COVID-19 form and directed where to go.

Just make sure to all the pictures and copies of (passport detail page, visa page, entry page, and COVID vaccination certificate plus 1900THB CASH!). They were really big on all that.

sorry I don't they like to use their own local forms. I called in before they stopped for lunch at noon, picked up the paperwork (the first counter you get to) then went for lunch myself, filled in the paperwork, got all the copies done downstairs and a new photo then went to counter J at 1pm.

Looks like you can make an online appointment at immigration. Do you know, is it worth making an appointment?

Sorry I’m in Phuket and don’t know the Bangkok offices. Perhaps someone with local knowledge can confirm.

it takes two minutes to make one, so even if they won't ask for it(and they won't) you have nothing to loose, but at least you'll know for sure they have to take you in and process your documents...

it certainly is. I had an appointment at 1pm last week and was out by 1:22pm, together with a new covid extension.

It's a new system, so when you go in, find counter J and pop you head round to let them know you are there with an appointment.

Also printing it off helped me walk straight past all those queuing for their tickets.

Obviously do all the paperwork beforehand so you are in and out

For the reason for appointment, did you select Extension for TR visa or "Visa Issuing and Changing type of Visa"? Think it matters?

THanks so much. Do you have a link to the covid extension form? I found the TM7, but want to have the covid form prepared.
