@everyone

It is now confirmed that travelers arriving in Thailand are receiving 30-day visa-exempt entry stamps, with the change taking effect from midnight today.

Please plan your stay accordingly.

As a reminder, we offer door-to-door 30-day extension services in Bangkok for 5,000 THB, allowing you to complete your first extension without needing to leave your residence.

If you have enough time to apply for a 60-day Tourist eVisa before traveling, this is generally the better option if you intend to stay in Thailand for longer than 60 days.

Answer summary

Travelers arriving in Thailand are now receiving 30-day visa-exempt entry stamps, effective immediately. There are services available for door-to-door 30-day visa extensions in Bangkok for 5,000 THB, and for longer stays, applying for a 60-day Tourist eVisa is recommended.

I plan to travel to Thailand from December 7, 2026, to March 11, 2027. After the initial 30 days, I intend to extend my visa for another 30 days at an immigration office. Then, after those 60 days expire, I will travel to Vietnam for 7 days before re-entering Thailand for another 30-day stay. Is this travel plan feasible?
