What is the experience of the Test and Go process in Thailand for arriving travelers?

Anyone coming over soon on the test and go,just a little extra info for you. I arrived yesterday. The exit of Immigration at the airport is all rather chaotic. Lots of booths with hotel names on placards. You have to locate the right booth then give your details. They will then allocate where you can sit to await transit to your hotel. I arrived at the hotel early evening and was expecting a covid test right away. That was not the case, it was 8am this morning.  I am doing the test and go in pattaya and last time I was here for full 14 day quarantine in the summer they had hospital staff at the hotel and you did the test at the hotel and they sent the samples to the hospital for processing. Different this time. They take you to the hospital in a songtaew where you do the test at an outside clinic near the hospital. Then driven back to the hotel to await the result. They say I will get the result late afternoon.

Arrived BKK airport 11am, brought to car right away, went to drive-through swab then to hotel. Called reception at 7pm results were out. Left immediately!

I'm arriving in Phuket 28th Dec on test and go, I thought we had to book PCR test at airport on arrival? That was part of the thaipass application. I paid for it also.. also accomodation at sha+ plus hotel and transportation. How come you all have PCR test scheduled with hotel?

Well don't go to Hotel Tropicana in Pattaya. I got out at about 7pm today. The test was 8am-ish after check in the night before about 8pm. A full 24 hours before release. I've read / been told about really quick turn around - this ain't one of them. Shame as they were very efficient in the Summer, but won't be using them again for a test and go.

My process was very smooth as well.  A representative helped us find the correct hotel transport and we went straight to the hospital for testing. Arrived Suvarnabhumi around 11 pm and had results 8 am the next morning and free to go.

Very smooth process yesterday for me. Stayed at Grande Centre hotel, PCR was done in the hotel after check in around 7pm, got result in the morning before we checked out at 10am.

I did my test and go at the Novotel Bangkok airport. Arrived around 4.30pm, and was in my room 35 mins later having completed the testing formalities after check in. Very efficient. Hospital emailed the result at 10.30pm

Every hotel is different. I had my test as soon as I arrived at my hotel. Before I even entered the building.

We stayed at Park Plaza Sukhumvit 18 straight to outdoor test at hospital tested at 14.30 results 02.00 then checked out at 09.00 the staff there are excellent and the food is good also can recommend
