It is now confirmed that travelers arriving in Thailand are receiving 30-day visa-exempt entry stamps, with the change taking effect from midnight today.

Please plan your stay accordingly.

As a reminder, we offer door-to-door 30-day extension services in Bangkok for 5,000 THB, allowing you to complete your first extension without needing to leave your residence.

If you have enough time to apply for a 60-day Tourist eVisa before traveling, this is generally the better option if you intend to stay in Thailand for longer than 60 days.
Answer summary
Travelers arriving in Thailand now receive a 30-day visa-exempt entry stamp effective immediately as of midnight today. For those needing longer stays, it's advisable to apply for a 60-day Tourist eVisa prior to travel. Additionally, a door-to-door visa extension service is available in Bangkok for 5,000 THB. Recent discussions reveal that applicants can only apply for visas in their country of citizenship or permanent residence, with updates on processing times for related documents like the ACRO police clearance.

You can't pick and choose where you apply from any longer. You can only apply in a country where you hold citizenship or legal right of permanent residence. London only needs funds seasoned for a couple of weeks but an ACRO police clearance certificate is taking up to a month

I saw that after I posted the above but earlier posts implied it took longer. Whether that was down to the certificate or the Royal Mail I don't know as I believe they post them out
