@everyone

It is now confirmed that travelers arriving in Thailand are receiving 30-day visa-exempt entry stamps, with the change taking effect from midnight today.

Please plan your stay accordingly.

As a reminder, we offer door-to-door 30-day extension services in Bangkok for 5,000 THB, allowing you to complete your first extension without needing to leave your residence.

If you have enough time to apply for a 60-day Tourist eVisa before traveling, this is generally the better option if you intend to stay in Thailand for longer than 60 days.
Answer summary
Travelers arriving in Thailand now receive a 30-day visa-exempt entry stamp, effective immediately. Expats are reminded of available door-to-door extension services in Bangkok for 5,000 THB, facilitating extensions without leaving home. Those planning to stay longer than 60 days are advised to consider applying for a 60-day Tourist eVisa prior to their arrival.

Doesn't have to be at opening branch as immigration are quite fond of sending you down to their local branch to put B100 in on tne day of application.

As discussed yesterday

My KTB bank account was opened in Silom BKK

I did the extension yesterday going into

KTB Bank - Bluport Hua Hin .

So - you may be able to if you have proof of address

- lease

Contract / TM30

You will need to approach the immigration you want to use and ask if they will accept your situation

When I visit my branch of Bangkok bank they print off a statement and letter showing my balance, within 30 minutes of asking at the counter.

Any bank branch should be able to help you. Just know that Bangkok Bank takes about a week to get a bank statement, whereas the others can do it same day.
