Hi! I have a question about visa exempt entries; I just read an old article(2014) saying that "By visa exempt entry, you only can stay a total 180 days in 365 days. The starting day counts from the day you enter this country."
Has anyone heard about this information? I tried to find more accurate information but I couldn't. Or any experience about this (something like have been asked at immigration)?
I am a Korean citizen, which means I can stay in Thailand up to 90days with visa exempt entry. I didn't have any problem or even a single question at the airport but in total date I stayed in Thailand would be more than 180 days this time. I wonder I don't have any problem to come back to this country.
Thanks and Have a good day!
TLDR : Answer Summary

They mention having read an outdated article stating a 180 days limit within 365 days. In response, community members clarify that there is no such rule. They note that a Korean citizen can stay up to 90 days on a visa exempt entry, and they recommend being prepared with proof of funds and accommodation when re-entering Thailand.
