TLDR : Answer Summary
A Belgian citizen can visit Thailand for 30 days without a visa through Visa Exempt Entry. While it is generally straightforward, travelers might be asked for proof of funds, accommodation, and onward travel if they have visited multiple times within a short period. It's advisable to carry around 10,000 THB (approx. 300 USD) as proof of funds.

4th time this year? Maybe just get married to your friend, live here and and occasionally visit home?

The ones I’ve run across are so needy though. They think you’re a Walking atm!!

ok thanks I just don’t want to fly to thailand and not Be entered that’s all ! Even the embassy of thailand in belgium couldn’t answer me

you will most likely NOT be questioned at all. Again let's keep in mind of the thousands of people who stamp into thailand every week only a very few get questioned for proof of funds and even fewer are denied entry

Yeah as long as you have 10,000baht about 300USD and an onward flight out at the end of your 30 days

suggest carrying 20,000 baht or its equivalent. Thai Immigration...when asking...are asking for 20,000... Per reports.

Not with a Belgian Passport. You can visit Thailand without a Visa and get the 30 day Visa Exempt Entry for free.

If you have a history of visits to Thailand with a tourist visa or using this Visa Exempt Entry there is a bigger chance you get asked to show proof of funds of 20.000 Thb or equivalent currency in CASH, accommodation and onward travel. Be prepared.

It is called a Visa Exempt Entry, not a tourist one on arrival.

So I can without problem go back without any visa just a free tourist one on arrival?
