Can be day to day as when it started, so do a check a couple of weeks before traveling.
Then the 60 day tourist visa would be the alternative.

A passport is usually the only document required. However, the Immigration Officer may request additional information and/or documents, such as:
- a return or onward travel ticket;
- evidence of sufficient financial means (THB 10,000 per person or 20,000 per family);
- accommodation booking/itinerary.
I am a very frequent visitor to Thailand and, although I have never had these additional documents checked, I always have them available. Good luck.

Indian nationals get a visa exempt entry for 60 days. Not a visa just a free stamp. You need to only show your passport and last boarding card.

Nothing has been said about whether the status quo will change. There is talk of a ETA being needed and rolled out by December for those coming visa exempt but no official details as yet.
