TLDR : Answer Summary
Indian nationals traveling to Thailand can enter visa-free for up to 60 days, requiring only a valid passport and, potentially, a last boarding card. It's advisable to carry additional documents like a return ticket, proof of sufficient funds (THB 10,000 per person or 20,000 per family), and accommodation bookings, although these are rarely checked.

A passport is usually the only document required. However, the Immigration Officer may request additional information and/or documents, such as:

- a return or onward travel ticket;

- evidence of sufficient financial means (THB 10,000 per person or 20,000 per family);

- accommodation booking/itinerary.

I am a very frequent visitor to Thailand and, although I have never had these additional documents checked, I always have them available. Good luck.

Indian nationals get a visa exempt entry for 60 days. Not a visa just a free stamp. You need to only show your passport and last boarding card.

i am planning to come to Thailand by end of December. Any idea till when this 60 day visa exemption for Indian nationals will be available...??

@Ivan ******
Nothing has been said about whether the status quo will change.

There is talk of a ETA being needed and rolled out by December for those coming visa exempt but no official details as yet.

the ETA will be rolled out but will be effective only by mid 2025. But nothing is mentioned about till when the visa exemption will carry on.

You are correct there has been no mention of how long it will carry on for. For the moment assume it’s indefinite until there is any further announcements.
