For any travellers from The Netherlands: the hopeful news is: I applied for COE phase 1 on last Saturday, and received confirmation within 24 hours, on Sunday! I had uploaded a copy of my passport, bank statement and ownership document of my condo. Easy peasy.

However, this (Monday) morning I called the Thai Embassy in The Hague, and actually got somebody on the phone :), and I was informed that they had NOT been given the confirmation yet about the reduced ASQ period to 11 days/night starting April 1. Once confirmed, it will be posted on the Embassy website.

I was also told that once this has been confirmed, a Fit-to-Fly declaration will no longer be needed while preparing all your documentation for travel.
