Hello all. I'm in Thailand on a 60day tourist visa for vacation. I want to extent it once with 30 days (no need for any extensions after that, as I'll have to return home). How big are the chances you'll get an "under consideration" stamp, instead of directly your extension ? I do not intend to stay in any province for longer than 7 days.
My plan was to renew my visa next week in Ubon Ratchathani, and then continue travelling to either Bangkok or Phuket. An "under consideration" stamp would mean I need to fly beck just to pick up the final visa extension stamp. If these are regularly issues, then it might be better to extend last minute, in my then current city, right?
