TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice after being denied a Covid extension in Chonburi and is considering going to Bangkok to request a 60-day Covid visa. Comments suggest that a TM30 is required to use the immigration office in Bangkok, and there are questions about the reasons for the initial denial of the visa extension.

Why they did not give it ? If you can proof where you stay. Everybody gets up to 1 year every time 60 days.

read right column bottom 5 lines...COVID extensions are not guaranteed and may not be for 60 days.

@Hans *****
Covid extension is at the discretion of the immigration officer and the last renewal of the law ordered immigration officers to be more strict in giving it out. With no one really being stuck in Thailand anymore, they can easily deny it.

You'll need a TM30 filed in a province to use the immigration office there. So if your hotel or condo in Bangkok has given you a TM30 then you can use Bangkok immigration.
