How do I determine the 72-hour window for filling out the TDAC before arriving in Bangkok?

Hey guys, I’m leaving the USA on Nov 13 and arriving on Nov 14 in Bangkok. I know I have a 72 hour window for the tdac to be filled out , so my arrival time is 9:30 pm,so do I start from that time or any time that day? Thanks!! I’m so bad at math.

The 72 hours is a little more complicated then some people suggest, especially if you are travelling from North America with a 12 hour time difference .
I suggest that you do it 1 or 2 days before leaving.
It only takes 10-15 minutes doing online.

If you're not sure factoring in time difference then just try submitting. It'll either accept or it won't. Not complicated.

if this is complicated maybe people shouldn’t travel It takes 2 minutes to complete just like when it was paper based

It says in the 72 hours "before arrival". It doesn't say maybe a few hours extra, it's in those 72 to zero hours prior to your 9.30 arrival at immigration. It's simple to count back? Use a clock if you can't.

3 days is 72 hours. You count back from time of arriving and can do it any time in that window. . It's the best way of getting the timing right.Lloyd *********

no it's not 72 hrs, it's 3 days. Nowhere does it say 72 hrs. If your flight arrives in Thailand at 23:30 on the 4th, you can submit TDAC anytime after 00:01 on the 1st. That's almost 96 hrs..

Don't forget depending where you are and the time, Thailand is up to 12 hours into the future from the US.

exactly. With at least a 23 hour flight, and at least 12 hours of time difference(and. Crossing the date line. It is probably gonna be the 15th on arrival

It’s not rocket science, anytime within 3 days of arrival, make sure you only use the official tdac website, it’s free, you should receive approval virtually instantaneously
