What is the new THIM app from Thailand's Immigration Bureau and how does it work?

**NEW Immigration bureau application; THIM **

This is a new app immigrations rolled out and seems to be the TDAC and trip planner in one (along with other features that aren't active yet)

I was able to put in the data for a trip planned to come to thailand in Nov, and it said it would message me when it was time to file the health declaration and then give a QR code

I was also able to put in the data for a trip planned to come to thailand in 3 days and it let me fill out the health declaration form and gave a QR code on the spot.

It appears to be a fairly stable app although I had it close a couple times for no reason I could see  😲

The advantage is you can put in a future trip you have planned here and it will message you when it's time to do the health declaration and get the QR code

It's available on both Google Play and Apple Store

You can still file a TDAC via the online web-portal or at the airport when you arrive with the kiosks.. This THIM app is just piloting right now, BUT it appears functional and you should be able to use it when you enter thailand.

It’s a free of charge App that you can download, it’s called THIM from Royal Thai Police
