What Are the Options for Extending a Non-Immigrant O Visa If Sponsored by a Husband on an OA Visa?

Hi. Am new to the group and have a question related to non immigrant O visa (multi-entry). I am sponsored by my husband who is on OA retirement visa. Both UK passport holders.

When we arrived on 16th April, my husband was stamped in for 1 year but I was given 90 days to 14 June. Have tried to review posts on here but can’t work out if I am supposed to leave every 90 days and come back or it’s a first time arriving on this visa kind of process and need to visit immigration office.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks so much!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A new expat in Thailand, holding a Non-Immigrant O visa, is seeking guidance on whether they must leave the country every 90 days or visit the immigration office for an extension since their husband, who has an OA retirement visa, is in the country with a one-year stamp.

You say you arrived on April 16th and were given a stamp until June 14th :O sure you didn't get stamped in until July 14th? (89 days from the date you arrived?)

you SURE you arrived APRIL 16th?

Weren't the borders and entry points already closed at that time?

You go with your husband TO the immigration office with the marriage certificate etc and they will give you an extension that matches your husbands year entry stamp for 1900baht.

That is an extension based on being married to someone who has a long term stamp to thailand, called trailing spouse.

You need to do it BEFORE your current entry stamp expires

Your husband has an O-A visa and got stamped in for one year upon arrival.

You only have a Non O and correctly was stamped in for 90 days.

I assume you are age 50+ ??

I wonder why you did not get an O-A visa too when your husband did ??
