ISSA Compass again.. this time they demand a confirmed e-ticket instead of itinerary. Any providers that’ll issue an e-ticket (not confirmation) on a refundable ticket please? 😵💫
Answer summary
The discussion revolves around the challenge of obtaining a confirmed e-ticket required by ISSA Compass for a Thailand visa application. Users share experiences and advice on finding airlines that provide fully refundable tickets, expressing frustrations about perceived unnecessary obstacles in the application process. Many suggest that the requirement for a confirmed ticket is not standard and recommend applying for the visa independently to simplify the experience. Various airlines and ticketing options are mentioned, including those that offer a 24-hour cancellation policy.

Emirates has fully refundable Flex Plus tickets. Very expensive airfare, but you do get a full refund whenever you cancel it.
HappyCelery1441 maybe it's destination specific. I just checked Hong Kong to Bangkok and it shows the Flex Plus option which you see says both change fee and refund fee is complimentary. I've personally utilised this many times over the years. According to a Google search, Flex Plus fares are available worldwide though. Note that Flex and Flex Plus are not the same fare class.
Just to clarify for all that are interested - any booking with 24 hours cancellation isn’t acceptable for ISSA. It must be a booking that’s passed the 24 hour window and has a eticket issued. Probably for all the other reasons mentioned. I’m fairly confident at this point that it would have been easier to apply myself. Take note people 🙏🏻
HappyCelery1441 You can still apply by yourself. Asking you to fully buy a flight ticket is ridiculous. And as I said in a previous comment, your agency is making up this requirement. Thai embassies themselves will not ask you for a confirmed flight ticket, maybe only a flight itinerary.
Anonymous participant 979 they aren’t asking for this “to make it look harder”. They ask for it because they offer money back guarantee. Not having this makes it hard, if not impossible, to guarantee approval.
Nobody can help you because they don't know what flight route you want to take. There are so many airlines that offer fully refundable tickets. You just have to search for it.
