TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion covers the range of agency fees for retirement visas (NON-O) in Pattaya, indicating a typical range from 1,900 THB to 30,000 THB depending on the specifics of the visa application process and additional services required. Some users reported paying as little as 1,900 THB annually for the retirement extension when handled personally, while others suggested fees could be as high as 30,000 THB for initial applications depending on financial documentation and other factors. There are also varying experiences with bank account requirements and the types of visas needed for a retirement extension.

I only go Thailand 2-4 months a year as tourist so dont know how ever I cannot see how hard it would be to apply flll out do the form yourself. If you make a mistake fix the mistake and resubmit will get it right eventually.

That’s not how it works now. Only Bangkok Bank is willing to open accounts without a long term visa, meaning you already have one, not about to apply for one. Even then, the majority of Bangkok bank branches still won’t open one without going through an agent.

Did you open the bank account recently? It seems from this year it is hard to open a bank account for foreigners.
