What are my options regarding my non-B visa and leaving Thailand without overstaying during a transition period?

So here it is. I’m currently holding a non-B visa. My work contract ends this month. I am leaving my current house and going to do what I read on here, canceling your work permit and then canceling my extension at the immigration of where I lived the 27th of September. I can get a 7 day grace period, which I was already informed today by the immigration officer. With these 7 days I will be traveling to my new province to move my things etc, so I will not be in my current province to go to my immigration office later than the 27. However I am currently scheduled to leave Thailand on the 4th of October. Which would make it 8 days. I do not want to over stay and I do not really want to get a visa exempt at Laos or Myanmar for one day. Just for the current situations with visa. I will be coming back to Thailand on the 24th of October getting a visa exempt stamp while my paper work is being completed for my new non b visa and them traveling outside Thailand to obtain one. So the question is what are my options? Either come back to my province at a later date so that I will be within the 7 day grace period or go to the airport and stamp out and stay until my flight leaves the 4th in the morning which is probably not the best or even likely. 2. I could buy another ticket and go to my destination the 3rd or by a ticket for the third. They have not currently canceled my work permit and will do it until I tell them the date I would like for them to cancel it.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on managing their non-B visa situation as their contract ends. They plan to cancel their work permit and visa extension on September 27 but are scheduled to leave Thailand on October 4, which exceeds the 7-day grace period. They are considering options to avoid overstaying, including returning to their province to stay within the grace period or stamping out at the airport. The user is uncertain about whether to book a new ticket or make alternative arrangements.
