What is the Deadline for Leaving Thailand with a Non-B Visa After Cancelling My Work Permit?

Hey guys!

Not sure if someone can help me but worth the try...

I have a non-b visa valid until feb-21 but I had to do my 90-day report in May. Because of the covid, I cancelled my work permit in June so I don’t have it anymore. I don’t intent to stay after the amnesty, I’m going to The Netherlands soon.

Now my question... I know that people that needed to do the 90-day report from March-31 of July need to do it now from 1-31 of August.. since I don’t have my work permit anymore I don’t think I can do the report, so what’s my deadline to leave the country with the “new amnesty”?

Now, before end of August, or 26 of September?

Thanks! 🙏🏾

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the deadline to leave Thailand after canceling their work permit while holding a non-B visa. They are uncertain about the timeline due to recent changes in reporting policies linked to COVID-19 and the amnesty period, particularly whether they must leave by the end of August or by September 26.

If you do not like to stay inside Thailand, visit the Immigration Office, cancel your Extension of Stay, ask them about the 90 day report and make the report if asked for,

After that you have until 26 September to leave the Kingdom,

I guess you have a big stamp from Immigration Office in your passport with in the second line the text:

Extension of Stay permitted up to 21 Feb 2021.

Please confirm or show us what you call your non b visa.

Yes, my lawyer just canceled my work permit but not the extension of stay. I didn’t know that I had to do it but fell on amnesty so I didn’t worry at the time.

Is the grace period of 26 of September valid for me too? Can I skip going to immigration to do the report? I don’t have an office where I live, so it involves travel.

If I’m leaving anyways before 26 of September...

thanks

Go to your local immigration office and cancel your extension of stay based on employment. You'll go on amnesty, and you can stay no later then September 26

I guess you did not visit Immigration in June to cancel this Extension of Stay at the last day of working and now using the amnesty to stay in Thailand.

Your Work Permit is not needed to inform Immigration that you are 90 days inside Thailand,

Visit Immigration, cancel your Extension of Stay and apply for a new Extension of Stay if you can meet requirements of any other reason to stay inside Thailand,
