Can I extend my visa again for a further 30 days ? Taking me to 90 days. Can you recommend please

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, Tez, is seeking advice on extending their stay in Thailand after utilizing a 30-day exemption and a subsequent 30-day extension. They inquire about further extension possibilities and alternative visa options such as a student visa, retirement visa, or others. Comments suggest that further extensions are not possible after the initial ones and recommend border runs to reset the visa clock or obtaining a new visa type. Additionally, users offer practical advice about travel arrangements to neighboring countries for another entry stamp.

Grab a weekend package to KL or Penang, and get another exempt coming back, a travel agent will find you a cheap 2 night deal

. Does it matter if you have already made multiple entries into Thailand ? Or can you step out and step back in from Malaysia

pretty sure there won't be any issues, unless your passport makes you look like a serial offender

You can leave and return to get a new stamp then an extension. At that point, you can attempt to get a bank account to get a non-O visa. Depending upon where you are, this can be challenging. In Bangkok, it’s really rough. In Hua Hin and Pattaya, apparently not so much. Agents can also help. You can also try to do so now, but having a longer stay on your stamp helps. With an agent, you should have no problem if you go now.

Student visa will work if you’re going to stay put and honestly study. Everyone knows about studying Thai or Muay Thai, but there are many things one can study.

I don't recommend doing the "change" from a 30 days visa exempt to a "90 days Non-Imm-O retirement visa" in Pattaya, because they ask for a two-months seasoning of the 800,000.- THB, already on the day of the application for the visa. Which in most cases is NOT doable if the applicant has to open a bank account first

You can only get one extension off an exempt entry.

You can look into the options of longer term visa/extensions but you’d need to meet the requirements they require

likely not enough time left on extension to convert to a visa... most need at least 15 days left to apply.
