Need some help regarding visas as I’m not sure what is the best option. I have been in Thailand for 30 days on Monday and extended my visa yesterday at the embassy for another 30 days. My travel plans have changed, which means I wish to stay in Thailand for an additional 2 months after this visa extension runs out. What do I need to apply for to make sure this can happen? Or do I need to exit the country to be able to re-enter.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has recently extended their stay in Thailand for an additional 30 days and is seeking further options to extend their visa for two more months. Community members suggest considering a COVID extension before a specified date or making a visa run to Cambodia as possible solutions.
I don't think you extended your visa at the embassy! Probably at the immigration office? Go back there just before March 25, you should get a further 60-days under the provision of the covid extension. If you are refused you will be given seven days to leave the country. Then do what
Amy Louisa Church Lee. There have been isolated cases, but if you're currently on a tourist visa/visa exempt (as opposed to non-immigrant visa) there's little chance you'll be denied. As always it's up to the discretion of the immigration officer, but I'm confident you'll be fine
