I come to Thailand on a non o visa based on marriage obtained in my home country. Due to quarantine in hotel in Bangkok and village I have not had time to let the 400,000 baht season for 2 months. What would be the best way to get a bit more time to allow for the money to season in my Thai bank? Covid extension or can I just extend it another way? I will need at least another 30 to 40 days. Thank you

Suggest you apply for a COVID extension of 60 days. With that ...as you planned... you will have seasoned the 400,000 Thai baht for the one year extension of stay based on Marriage to Thai. (Keeping the 60 days family visit extension as a fall back option if necessary).
