Good day everyone, I've already acquired a Non O in my home country and coming to Thailand in June 26. I'm lucky to have a Bangkok Bank account already but still need to fund it with 800k. How long does the 800k need to be seasoned before you can apply for the year extension?
Answer summary
In the discussion, users provide insights on how long the 800,000 THB must be seasoned in a Thai bank account before applying for the one-year extension of the Non-O visa. Most comments indicate that while the law states a minimum of 2 months, some areas like Jomtien may require 3 months of bank statements. Additional comments highlight variations depending on the province and specific immigration office policies.

phang nga ask for 3 months statements to get non o retirement extended. i keep my £800k in government savings bank , separate to my other account. i just take the interest out once a year.

Julian Lewis not much interest anyway, as Thailand bank offers like 0.85% annually.

Jean Pacquement one year for the first 1 year EoS? Thats not possible, how can one stay with a 90 day non-immi O retirement Visa and accomplish 12 months of bank deposit before applying for the first 1 year extension of stay?

Jean Pacquement one year is barstool (or agent) talk, no province requires that

Funds deposited for 2 months when you apply for the 1 year retirement visa…

Michael Clark It is not a visa (that was used to enter Thailand), it is an Extension of Stay. Retirement visas obtained inside of Thailand do not require seasoned funds (except in Jomtien).
