Good morning. I am aware that with the recently announced โ Amnesty โ that my visa is automatically extended to the end of July. ( My visa actually runs out next week ) My question being, do I have the need to visit the immigration office to secure the extended visa, or just do nothing and make a further application towards the end of July. ?
Many thanks
Colin
TLDR : Answer Summary
Colin seeks clarification on whether he needs to visit the immigration office after his visa is automatically extended due to the recent amnesty. Comments suggest that while the amnesty extends the visa until July 31st without additional paperwork, he has options to apply for different types of extensions. It is also noted that those on long-term extensions, like marriage or education, should typically secure their extension as they normally would.
