Morning all. Just an update if any use for people. I had a expired non-imm O visa, dependent. Since 13th of July I have been on amnesty and got an extension with my embassy letter. During this time, I have a job offer here in Thailand. I have tried all avenues for getting an extension of stay based on employment and non-imm B visa in country. It is simply not possible. I am not in the process of preparing to go back to London and make the visa there, before coming back for my 2 weeks quarantine. The company is supporting me with all the documents etc. It is, what it is. I want to do everything correctly, as this is a great job and secures long term future here in Thailand. Sometimes we have to accept the hard choices, and go with the flow!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The author shared their experience of being on an expired Non-O visa as a dependent and facing challenges in securing a work visa (Non-B) while in Thailand. Despite being offered a job, they found it impossible to convert their current visa status to an employment-based visa while still in the country. The author plans to return to London to apply for the necessary visa before returning to Thailand for their job, demonstrating their commitment to following proper procedures.

Thanks for the update. I'm sorry it couldn't work out :(
For people who are curious, the OP's wife is a foreigner with a Non-B visa. The OP entered with his wife on a Non-O visa based on being married to a foreigner with a Non-B visa. This Non-O visa does not allow employment.
The OP found a job, and wanted to work, but it seems like there's no way to go from an Extension of Stay based on being a Dependendent of a Foreigner to an Extension of Stay based on Employment.
I don't see the reason to keep this post open :( Good luck!
