TLDR : Answer Summary
A user reported their DTV visa application was unexpectedly denied even after submitting the required documentation. Many community members suggested the need for transparency from embassies regarding denial reasons. They also offered advice to recheck the submitted documents, emphasizing that sometimes the issue lies in specific requirements not being met, such as providing the correct bank statements or proof of income over the required timeframe. The conversation highlights frustrations with the visa application process and discusses potential alternative locations for application to improve chances of approval.
Anonymous participant i am not any goverment but this is what we see here in this group every day. With abit of diging and questions we always find the reason. I understand your annoyed by the fact. But why should they decline you for no reason.
Lets just work together to find the reason and fix it so you can apply again.
Choose a different embassy if you can afford the travel again. Vientiane was very easy and can be cheaper than TH if you stay in hostels, the food was cheap. Good hotels there cost more than TH though, imo, and the air quality is very poor there right now.
They can just write exactly which documents are required instead let us guess and scraping this group and youtube videos excessively. its a waste if time and money. I provided them what they requested precisely and got rejected, so this system is just a garbage.
So many of the people in this group still dont realize that different nationalities are looked at differently when it comes to the chance of getting their DTV applications approved. A lot less ‘you didnt fulfil the requirement and that’s why you didnt get approved’ comments would be helpful
we’re asking bc it’s not entirely clear. What nationalities are less welcome than others? What rules apply to them? Do you think if it would be clear and transparent people would ask? Thailand is Thailand, approval or rejection is always up to the officer in charge.
You think so? The only difference that I'm aware of is that some nationalities, for example African like me, can only apply in your home country. When I did that I got approved within a week.
This what they sent me out although I sent them Transactions PDF from the bank , And invoices and reciepts from customer. and showed them documents about evidence from my bank that I have more than 500,000 THB
Anonymous participant did you highlight the income in your bank statements that corresponded to the invoice/receipts you provided? Reads to me that's what they were looking for
You can share your details about your application here in the group in one consolidated post and group experts and others will help you figure the possible reason so that you can improve upon and apply again.
