Have anyone had experience cancelling DTV at embassy in Vientiane, Laos?
Do we need to do to Vientiane or can be done online by email?
My DTV was issued with stamp on my passport(not e-visa).

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on how to cancel their DTV visa issued by the Thai embassy in Vientiane, Laos. They inquire whether this process requires a physical visit to the embassy or can be completed online via email. Comments from the community suggest that if the user plans to apply for a different visa, it may be simplest to have an agent handle the cancellation. It is also noted that fees might be associated with the cancellation process.
I’d assume you are going to be getting a different type of visa now? Otherwise surely no point in cancelling. If so, if you’re using an agent for the new visa just tell them you need to cancel the DTV. Never done it on DTV but did similar with an Ed visa and I paid ฿2000 to cancel it. Doubt it’ll be an issue for you
