TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks recommendations for agents that can assist expats in opening a bank account in Thailand. The comments provide various suggestions, notably mentioning Mots Services in Pattaya, as well as other agents like Siam Legal in Bangkok and Isaan Lawyers for those near Korat. Multiple commenters highlight the common challenges faced when trying to open accounts with tourist visas and the advantages of using local services. There is a mix of opinions on whether hiring an agent is necessary, with some suggesting it's feasible to navigate the process independently.

This is quite common now and you need to go to one of the tourist spots and get an agent to help you. I know one in Pattaya who charges 3500 baht for this service but you’ll need at least 15 days left on your stamp and a TM.30 from a hotel.
