just go to Bangkok bank branch and it should be easy enough.

I managed to open two bank accounts myself without any issues or get yourself a Thai girlfriend and take her with you to help you out.

You can even open a bank account on a tourist visa there#

I did do it on tourist visa and on work visa but not looked into setting up on DTV visa but I do not understand, why would you be able to set one up on tourist visa but not DTV

what branches did you go to? I’ve been to 6 banks (two being Bangkok bank) and all said they don’t open accounts for dtv holders
