My bf is American and we have a plan to come to Thailand in the middle of January but we're wondering that should he buy the insurance which covers the covid for Thailand (he has health insurance for himself)? Can anyone give some good advice?
TIA ❤️

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the necessity of COVID insurance for traveling to Thailand, emphasizing that while the boyfriend has existing health insurance, additional coverage specifically for COVID-19 is required. Recommendations for insurance options, such as AXA, and advice on checking his current policy for adequate coverage are provided. The conversation also touches on visa regulations, suggesting that a tourist visa is advisable for a three-month stay.
And if he uses his passport to come to Thailand, how many days maximum he can stay? And he'll be able to apply the visa when he gets there right? So he could stay longer. Our plan is stay around 3 months
This is just people promoting their services lol or helping someone get business. All he need to have is insurance covering $ 50 000 bucks very easy to buy
For covid insurance with min. $50k, lot of people go with AXA which is a great choice and value for money with hassle-free. It covers any COVID-19 related costs for at least USD 50k even when asymptomatic. You don’t need to pay up front when get admitted to hospital. You can check price and buy it online here➡️
