It is automatic when u buy the ticket, and the cover depends on when u booked the ticket. If before 1/12/21 your insurance will be accepted for Thailand Pass. If after the coverage is only for Covid19 (up to $

Scroll down on Emirates.com home page and open the link for Covid19 medical insurance on how to get the certificate. The cover is now only for 31 days (if booked before

/21 it is up to 365 days for a return flight) If your trip is less than 31 days then I would try to upload it for the TP. If it is not accepted u will need to also find other medical cover, and also if u want full medical cover...which is advisable anyway.
