TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat inquires about insurance companies in Holland that provide COVID-19 coverage for entry into Thailand. Responses suggest checking with local insurance providers, as many should cover international travel that includes COVID-19. Several commenters mention potential requirements for specific insurance from Thai companies and suggest contacting CNX Insure, which offers options for the $100,000 insurance coverage required by Thailand. It's also noted that some Thai consulates recommend specific contacts for mandatory COVID-19 insurance.
offers options that cover the $100,000 USD policy requirement.

From my understanding, you’re required to get insured by a Thailand insurance company. In my jaundice view, it’s all part of the scam that the government probably has their fingers in the pot. The problem could be solved really easily about their fears of transmitting the virus from outside, by having individuals tested at the airport when they arrive and then put into seclusion for 24 hours until the test results get back, and if the test results are positive put in quarantine for 14 days, and if test results negative they go free. Just like they’re doing in Iceland. It is irrational if I tested negative at the airport in Thailand, that I should have to buy Coronavirus insurance. So I would not be surprised if the government gets a cut from every insurance policy
I have a question about COVID Insurance required to enter Thailand:
1. Will the normal International Travel Insurance with COVID cover be acceptable
2. If not, which are the companies in Thailand who offer the USD 100,000 COVID cover as required.
Thanks

Hi Tony, do you have health insurance here (in Holland)? If yes, your insurance is also meant to cover you for health-care required abroad including Corona, and they should be able to produce a letter confirming you are covered for $100K.
I don't know how it works these days but when I lived there in 1998 the private health insurance, that I obligatory had to pay for, did cover my on my trip to USA. Talk with your insurance company if you're resident there?

Do you meet the criteria for entering Thailand? If not, I would wait until you can, and then enquire about insurance
but if you meet all the criteria, can you enter now? Also, what else do you need except the insurance that covers covid and up to $100,000 and the 72 hour COVID health check?
