TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about potentially overstaying their visa by one night for their trip from June 2nd to June 18th, while holding a Fijian passport. Comments suggest that the Visa on Arrival (VOA) allows a stay until June 16th. Advice ranges from rebooking the flight to avoid complications to considering the cost-benefit of changing tickets versus dealing with immigration issues upon departing.

Depends on a cost benefit analysis. How much are changing fees with tickets vs at least a day waiting at immigration, getting a residence certificates for 500 baht and the 30 day extension for 1900 baht. At a minimum, that's one day waiting in heat, IF you have all required documents and paying maybe 80 USD?

as per Lisa advised , Plus you don't need residency certificate just to get a 30 day extension

VOA cannot get an extension of 30 days. This is different to a visa exemption.

The VOA stamp you receive if you arrive on the 2nd will be until the 16th. The day of arrival counts as day 1, and 15 days total means 2-16 (15 days you'll have been in Thailand).
