Hi guys! I was planning to go today to Krabi inmigration to make my covid extension (visa expired 17 February) but now we have more time. I'm going to Ko Tao in the night. Should I go to Krabi inmigration or better wait to February? Because I'm not sure if they are going to extend my visa or put under consideration. Someone did this days the extension in Krabi?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is contemplating whether to visit the Krabi immigration office to apply for a COVID visa extension before their visa expires on February 17th, or to wait until February to apply. Commenters suggest that visiting the immigration office before the deadline is advisable. They note that there are travel considerations, including the lack of an immigration office in Koh Tao, and irregular boat schedules. Additionally, some share experiences about receiving full extensions quickly at Koh Samui's immigration office.

If you go to Koh Samui they give you the full extension in a couple hours. I just went this morning. I checked in to a hostel for a couple days, Monkey Samui hostel, and they let immigration know you are staying there. I didnt get Under Consideration. Just the full extension. Also if your Koh Tao place lets immigration know you are staying there you wont have to actually stay anywhere on Samui. A lot of people from Koh Phangan do that

yes, those islands are in the area of where Samui immigration office (and Sratthani) serves. What you need to prove is your current address is inside thier serving area.
