TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on obtaining a COVID extension for their visa, which expires on April 7, just before a planned trip to Koh Samui. They wonder if they will need to return to the immigration office on April 5 after applying for the extension on March 29. Comments indicate that returning to the original immigration office is typically required to finalize extensions, and some users suggest consulting with immigration officers during the extension application for guidance regarding their travel plans.

For those who intended to cause fret. Went to MTT at 9.15, long queue for photocppy. This took about 30 minutes. Went to counter J and this took 15 minutes. Got considerate stamp for the 8th. There are people on this forum who gave good advice. Thanks
Anyway you would go to immigration office tomorrow or day after tomorrow. Just ask to immigration officer when you apply for your extension what you should do if you cannot go on that day. It doesn’t seem to be so strict so far for covid extension like other long term extension that going back exact date of under consideration date.

You must return to the immigration office where you applied in order to close out the extension, so the answer would in all likelihood be yes.

As you have NOT YET gotten an UNDER CONSIDERATION stamp...its possible the date may be while you are in Samui.
