Hi. Has anyone got information on the requirements for renewal of a trailing spouse visa. I’m on a non o retirement which seems a fairly straightforward renewal but I can’t find much info regarding my wife’s. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeks information about the requirements for renewing a trailing spouse visa in Thailand, as their wife is on a NON-O retirement visa. Comments suggest contacting local immigration offices for specific requirements, noting that there isn't a formal spouse visa in Thailand. It's also recommended to get the marriage legalized through the embassy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok to prove the legal marriage status.

Visit Immigration ASAP and ask for a handout list of what will be required by your wife, to continue being on an extension of stay as your trailing spouse. . . . .you might need your foreign marriage legalized by your embassy, and further by the MfA in Bangkok! Immigration needs a proof that the two of you are legally married. Immigration does not recognize foreign marriage documents unless they are co-legalized by the MfA

a copy of their original marriage documents is not wnough! They need their foreign marriage legalized by their embassy, and further by the MfA in Bangkok! Immigration needs a proof that they are legally married

It might have become invalid after 6 months, and Immigration might ask you for updated proofs. Because you theoretically could be divorced by now. Visit Immigration, show them your old proofs, and find out if they still accept it
