Is the Non IMM O spouse multi entry visa getting phased out from the overseas embassies ?

I use to always get mine from Singapore. Then it stopped, during COVID, with Single option only now. I was lucky to get one from Savannakhet on a recent trip back at the end of last year, however that is touch and go, with no clear multi entry option in writing on their site.

I just had a look at what the Evisa site offers, and they too are only single entry.

Is the overseas and online option a permanent move to single entry ? What are the other options please ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Non-IMM O spouse multi-entry visa appears to be increasingly difficult to obtain from overseas embassies, with many countries offering only single entry options through the eVisa platform. Comments confirm that the Thai consulate in Savannakhet may issue a year-long multi-entry visa under specific conditions, such as maintaining a substantial bank balance in a Thai bank account. Clear guidance on the status of multi-entry options remains scarce, leading to uncertainty for applicants.

Yep all the countries that participate in the eVisa online website are 'locked down' to just single entry for the Non-O visa for any reason (marriage, retirement, etc)

The thai consulate in Savannakhet will issue a year-long multi-entry Non-O but you need to have 400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply

Hi
@T**
- Just noticed you mention "in a Thai bank account" where previously it was just proof of 400k (not necessarily in a Thai bank account). Have there been some updates from folks that went to Savannakhet recently that reported this change?

If this is correct, then might as well straight up apply for 1 year extension in your local immigration office instead of slogging down to Savannakhet.

they started asking for 400K baht in a thai bank account about a month ago, before they would allow the equivalent in a foreign account, dunno why but it is what they're asking for now ..
