Wonder if my son was born in Thailand, is we eligible for any kind of permanent residency or does he have any specific status of what so ever? Not that we need it, just would like to know how it works here in Thailand. Please share your experience. Cheers!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the eligibility for permanent residency or special status for a son born in Thailand to non-Thai parents. The consensus among commenters is that the child would have the nationality of the parents and would not be eligible for special benefits or residency statuses solely based on birth in Thailand.

Nope, kids who have both parents as foreigners are the nationality of their parents UNLESS the parents have permanent resident status here.

No special benefits for kids born from non Thai parents. The baby will still be born to your nationality only.
