Good day everyone!

Right now, I’m on an ”Under Consideration” stamp, from having a non-b (teaching). (Changed schools, cancelled my previous work permit) I’m supposed to come back on the 15th of May to get a 30 day covid extension of stay. My question is, can I apply for the 1 year non b extension before the 15th? (My new work permit application’s all ready)

Anyway thanks for the advise. Was quite confused how my work permit application was approved. I have the receipt and I’ll be able to get the blue book on the 19th. I thought work permits are given under a valid visa.

nope you cannot apply for any other extension while you're on an under consideration stamp for a different reason.

You go close the loop on the stamp you have and then you can apply for what ever it is you're doing

You sure your stamp says to return on the 15th of May? I ask because that's a Sunday and immigrations is closed (and they're also closed Friday the 13th and Monday the 16th too 😮 )

Yup, pretty sure it’s on the 15th! I guess I’ll just have to go there on the 17th.
