TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, Jomtien Immigration is still issuing notices to show proof of bank funds after an extension of stay. Several users confirmed that they were required to provide proof of having the necessary funds in their accounts, specifically for retirement visa extensions, which demand maintaining a balance of 800,000 THB or a certain monthly income.

I just renewed my non-o retirement extension on Thursday . They carefully checked bankbook for previous 12mo for the 800k/400k balance. And gave paper with date to report in 3mo again. So, answer is solid yes.

that’s correct They are not obliged to remind you or give you notice you should be aware that it’s your own job to familiarise yourself with the rules or regs of your EofS. And even when they don’t seem to check all your details it doesn’t mean they are done away with. The rules is the rules and your IO on the day is your IO and will decide what he will and won’t check and it ends up completely up to him on the day. Basically always prepare to always meet all rules and regs regardless what you hear from others 🇹🇭🇬🇧🇹🇭👍🏻👌🏼💪🏽

thanx, we're seeing more and more people mentioning that they're not giving that paper out. It doesn't mean you don't need to meet the seasoning requirements just that they will check next year when you apply for your extension that you did

I believe that they still do...

But I suggest you ask Jomtien Immigration office.

I assume you are asking about your one year extension of stay as retired.

And their requirement to show Bank account PROOF of the 800,000 Thai baht still is in your Thai bank account in your name only 90 days after receiving the one year extension stamp in your passport.

Then they may have stopped requiring it for some....

Not sure but there's reports of it still being required. As it coincides with the first 90 Day Report, I suggest you be prepared for it by having PROOF of the 800,000 still in the Thai bank.
